Data Skills Test
The Bar chart above illustrates the goals scored by Aston Villa players in the 2010/2011 season.
The chart shows that Ashley Young and Darren Bent were joint top goalscorers in all competitions, scoring nine goals each. Whilst Young has scored in the League cup, Darren Bent did not have the opportunity to score in any other competition, as he made all his appearances in the 2010/11 campaign in the Premier League. Ashley Young was the second most used out-field player in the season. However, Darren Bent only joined in January and played jut sixteen times. Bent scored all his goals in the league, which was Villa's focus because their poor form in the league led them to be relegation contenders, with just nine games remaining.
The lack of goals in the FA cup amongst the top scorers is deue to the rotation policy that was used. Worryingly forward Gabriel Agbonlahor started all three FA cup ties, yet didn't score. This is probably because he was only the solitary striker on one occasion.
Had it not been for Bent the top three Premier League goalscorers would have all been wingers; Ashley Young, Stewart Downing and Marc Albrighton. Albrighton's season was particularly impressive as it earned him Aston Villa's young player of the year award.

| 200 X 500 This time I included the very top of the building, along with the text. I added the top of the building because the traditional chimley's emphasise the building's age. |
